My brother is a Mercedes mechaninc at Brown Motors. Brown Motor Works, BMW In Columbia, S.C. 803-551-0991 My brother is Kevin, he is there Mercedes mechanic. When he was 5, he took a lawnmower engine apart to see how it worked. He's been working on cars ever since. http://www.mercedesshop.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=89607&highlight=columbia+brother+dave Dave Morrison PS make sure you eat at Lizards Thicket. My uncle owns all of them. The fired chicken is great. you can use my name. michakaveli 07-13-2005, 05:26 PM Do they perform any welding, maybe I'll have them look into checking out my front spring perches and having them replaced and or re-welded. PC Dave 07-13-2005, 05:34 PM If that doesn't work out for any reason (or if you just want a lower shop rate), David Wrisley (www.wrisley.com/wmbz.htm) has restored and resold MB diesels for years as a hobby; I've come close to buying a couple of cars from him. He's now doing outside work on cars he doesn't own. I can't speak to his mechanical ability personally, but I've spoken with him a couple of times and he knows his stuff (he's also done a lot of work on W210 diesels). |
