Recently moved to Columbia, SC. I've noticed the abundance of various MB's here and wanted to know where to take mine in case I need repairs.
Any suggestions guys?

My brother is Kevin, he is there Mercedes mechanic.
When he was 5, he took a lawnmower engine apart to see how it worked. He's been working on cars ever since.

Do they perform any welding, maybe I'll have them look into checking out my front spring perches and having them replaced and or re-welded.

If that doesn't work out for any reason (or if you just want a lower shop rate), David Wrisley (www.wrisley.com/wmbz.htm) has restored and resold MB diesels for years as a hobby; I've come close to buying a couple of cars from him. He's now doing outside work on cars he doesn't own. I can't speak to his mechanical ability personally, but I've spoken with him a couple of times and he knows his stuff (he's also done a lot of work on W210 diesels).
