View Full Version : having trouble doing searches 96E300D 10-17-2005, 02:28 PM Anyone else running into problems with searches? Matt Gary Ganaway 10-17-2005, 02:54 PM Yes, me too. Webmaster 10-17-2005, 03:07 PM Please give me an example. Exactly what words are you searching for and what is the problem or error you are getting? I have to have more info to do anything with this! Gary Ganaway 10-17-2005, 03:15 PM Seems to be working now. I put in "brake pads" and athreads came up ok Alos put in "headlight replacement" and this too worked so must have been a glich over the weekend. 96E300D 10-17-2005, 05:09 PM When I put in search I get directed to a site that says page cannot be displayed. 96E300D 10-17-2005, 06:06 PM the search I'm doing(although it doesn't seem to matter what I put in), is on oil coolers Matt 96E300D 10-17-2005, 06:09 PM It looks like the search engine doesn't like the word "oil". Maybe an overload of information? guyever 10-17-2005, 06:23 PM It looks like the search engine doesn't like the word "oil". Maybe an overload of information? I was thinking the same thing. I tried "oil consumption" and got the same result. Guy AdMaven 10-17-2005, 07:35 PM I'm getting a page cannot be displayed when I do a basic search on the tech help forum. I'm trying to find anything on oil filler cap leaks (or bad seal). Webmaster 10-17-2005, 07:51 PM I was able to duplicate the problem. The problem is that when searching for common words like "oil" the search engine was coming up with so many records that it exceeded the memory limit. I increased the memory limit and that seems to have fixed the problem. guyever 10-18-2005, 10:21 AM That did it. Thanks, Guy 96E300D 10-26-2005, 02:22 AM Thanks Bill! |
