can't access pm's [Archive]

Hey guys,
for some reason my inbox and sent items folder both say they have 0 messages. under my login there are the correct amount of messages that I should have, some important ones I was saving as well as one unread message that I would desperately like to read. what is wrong that my folders all state they are empty?

We lost a disk drive in mid Oct which resulted in a loss of all PM's and posts from mid Sept to mid Oct.
I just purged your PM's so the message count is now correct.
