I got the turbo today and was a little surprised how small it is. It's tiny compared to the stock T3.

I'm making a little teardown/operation pictorial but the turbine housing is stuck to the bearing housing. I've soaked with WD40, used a mini-torch to heat it and gently whacked with a brass hammer. Nothing wants to dislodge it. Any ideas?

Edit: Well, the turbo is scrap. Upon a closer look, the compressor blades have significant damage on the leading edges. Most likely from a loose air pipe or improperly installed/dirty air filter.

Here are the pictures. I'm still attempting to get a return for the turbo because of the damaged blades.

Lance,
Are you planning to install that on a 617? And, where exactly is the gizmo that makes the VN part of that thing?

Since it's kinda small, I was planning to try and get a second one from eBay Germany and make a twin VNT turbo setup. I'm going to try and post a video of the actuator movement but I have to find my webstorage management page first. I was unable to remove the turbine housing because of the rust bond. If this guy won't give me a refund, I might just try a torch to get the rust to break free.

Edit: The second to last picture shows the actuator on the upper left of the picture.
