I was looking in the "whos online" section and noticed a lot of "Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, etc. Spiders" that were logged into the forum.
Are these just programs out finding new info to satisfy peoples search terms when they type it into the search bar on their favorite engine?
Was just curious and paroozing the forums many nooks and crannies :)

Yes, these are various search engines that routinely crawl out site to catalog the data.

Even if the email address is posted in the material within the text?
Very interesting. :)

Very interesting. :)If you intentionally post your email address within a thread then YES, the spiders can grab it.

Okay that is what I thought. I knew the emails were usually protected by using the forum as a sort of 'proxy' but wasn't sure about posting within
Thanks!

I had a mice camped out in the boot of my 230TE. They built a nest (or whatever mice live in) beside the container for the rear windscreen wash. At first I thought this would be handy as the fluid would always be at mouse body temp and I could look forward (or backwards) to a clear rear screen.
Imagine my surprise when my rear washer packed up and i got strange leak at my rear. The mice had eaten through the pipe that supplies the rear washer and the water was now going into the trunk area.
I have bats in the loft, they seem to keep the house warm, so they can stay. Spiders don't seem to be much use though.

Umm...
Not sure if you are joking but this thread wasn't about THOSE kind of spiders.
A very odd thread to do your first post on too. :)
Oh well...good account of your situation anyway. :)
