. . . THE man to go to is Kevin Gambino of Gambino's Foreign Cars. He works on Lexus, Jaguar, and even Toyota as well as MB.
He's always tried to save me money, ever since I brought my late lamented 420SEL to him for a timing change. Another shop, which was recommended by a local member of MBCA, quoted me $3000 for a timing chain and tensioner change. I knew that was way out of line, and Kevin did too.
He's in Harahan, the Elmwood area, right behind the giant Palace Theater complex.
