1998 M-Class has available skyview sunroof. But it seems to be very un-popular as I have never seen a single ML equipped with one. Anyone has seen one on the road???

P.S. It's funny, most sale representatives here in Canada don't even know this option exists 'til they check the brochure......

I've seen it at the dealer floor. It was not availale until the 1999 models year. The 1998 ML320 does not have it. I think it is pretty cool, that SkyView roof would be my deciding factor over any other S.U.V. (Some Ugly Vehicles).

I just saw a TV commercial for the 2000 ML55 AMG. It is being marketed as the world's fastest production S.U.V. I was very surprised to see it, because I have never seen a TV spot for any other AMG product or any Euro tuner cars. Has anyone seen any TV ads for the C43, E55 or even the M5 yet?

What I was told is that Skyview is available on ML320 Elegance and ML430. However, I have not seen one in person, even at dealers.

Actually I haven't seen the ML55 commercial. Did you see it on TV?? If my memory served me right, MB had a commercial for 500E/E500 back a while ago. And I rarely see MB's commercial anyway..... :)

I saw the E-Klasse advert (W210). Shows an E-Klasse on the road which a huge bunch of bulls and suddenly one bangs to the side of the E-Klasse... you get the picture. Merc was showing the "then" new side airbags. It was cute. The other E-Klasse advert I saw was a fast one... showing the unique lines of the W210. I've also seen the 1998 C-Klasse advert, with an annoying fat guy singing. There's also one S-Klasse W140 I saw. I haven't seen any AMG ones though.

Speaking of C-Class, there was a commercial about 1997 C-Class. A man was driving a pickup, going up to a freeway, trying to accelerate and merge into the traffic, and the lady who was driving C-Class just accelerate away.......

Couple ads about C36, W140 in Mercedes Magazine. That's about it....

The commercial for the ML55 AMG was on regular broadcast television (Wash D.C.). I see plenty of Mercedes TV commercial here in my local market and have seen the E-Class ad with a bunch of Rhinos that Choo Chung Chieh may be referring to.

The U.S. does not have separate trim levels for any Mercedes models. All U.S. cars basically come with trim similar to the Elegence line. We have no selection of trim and the Avantgarde, Elegance and Classic trim, etc. are not available. I believe that the ML320 has standard cloth seats and the C-Class can be upgraded to full leather versus leather seat inserts.

The only advert I've seen in the UK recently is a bunch of people singing 'oh lord wont you buy me a mercedes benz' while various MBs go about their daily business. Quite cute. Oh, and there was a strange A-Class advert where an E Class morphed into an A class. Again quite cute, but odd.

Oh, Kevin, read your signature carefully ....you've got 'debagded' not 'debadged' ;-) Sounds like one mean E430 tho!!

Speaking of the C-Klasse, I've seen on MBUSA advert on it. It's about a lady going around in a C-Klasse (duh) and gets annoyed by this fat guys singing "It's not impossible". She sees him everywhere she goes. It's a very funny advert. HMMMMMmmmmmmmm... MB should be awarded for having one of the most creative and funny adverts.
