i just wanted to know if this can be fixed by replacing the lower control arm. new to the whole mercedes game so please be patient with me. i have replaced one of these on a volvo 240!

This is what you need to do.
#1. The tires must be good = even tread + no shifted belts or bent rims.
#2. The tire pressure must be correct on all tires.
#3. A wheel alignment must be done (suggest MB dealer) to verify damage.
#4. All damaged parts must be replaced, and another wheel alignment must be done, if the body is warped = it must go on a frame rack to be restored, then another alignment must be done.
