My wife backed my car out of the garage and knocked the cover off of the driver side rear view mirror. Looking at it more closely, a clip inside the cover that holds it together is broken. The mirror and wiring on the mirror are fine. I think the mechanics of behind the mirror are fine.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting a new cover? Any thoughts on how to install it? I think the cover may just snap in, but I am stillunable to figure out how the mirror is attached?!

If I remember right, the cover does snap on, and once the cover is off you should be able to see three torx head screws that hold the mirror on. I am pretty sure about that , but we work on so many,,,,,

So I need to attach the mirror before I snap on the cover???
Where can I buy an OEM cover?

Yes you definately need to install the mirror first,,,,, and the OEM cover ? I would try the dealership. A lot of Mercedes parts are really not that expensive. The most expensive parts we buy for wrecked cars these days are for,,,,,, you guessed it,,,, Hyundais.

No need to buy a new cover. The same clips broke on my cover as well. I just used a bit of crazy glue to hold it in place. Its been fine for 3 years already.
