Hello all,

I have an 89 260E that I want to touch up the gray paint on the rocker panel. Does anyone know what the DB number is for the color?

The E Class Bible lists it as Galinit Gray, but no number. My computer card in the back of the maintenance manual does not show it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the Galinat Gray is DB 129. However, it was my understanding that with MY89, they made other colors available on the rockers, so you may want to be sure yours is galinat gray. I could be wrong. There might be useful info here: www.paintscratch.com. If you search your year and make, it has a chart of colors and DBs.
