OK, here goes another "silly" computer question.

I put a link to my mercedesshop.com gallery in my my signature.

But instead of a long URL name, I just want to have a short name like "My Gellery." Not original, but to the point.

How do I do that?

Look at John's (JCE) sig. He renamed the links.

You can do links using vB Code (http://www.mercedesshop.com/shopforum/misc.php?do=bbcode).

The MANUAL WAY:
If you want a link to Google but you don't what the entire URL to show up you can use vB Code like this:
Google (http://www.google.com)
It will look like this: Google (http://www.google.com)

The EASY WAY:
Just type the word Google in your message. Highlight it and click the little globe symbol above. Type your URL in the popup text entry box and click ok.

Links in your sig are done using vB Code, too.
