Hi Gary, I can't help you with any recommendations in that area, but I can recommend my mechanic in Tarzana, which is a bit of a drive, but well worth it.

Get the attention of our own Ernesto (BENZ-LGB) who is here most every day, he too says MR. MB in Tarzana is the best of the best, but on that thread mentioned seeing Christiansen's in "Strawberry Country" he is residence is near you and also, someone else mentioned "Dieter's" as being good. Unfortunately, no city was mentioned, but it's a lead anyway.

I'm also looking for a mechanic in the Thousand Oaks area as I've just moved down here. I have 94 c280 with the Check Engine light just coming on and am looking for some help on it.

If you ask around the best in the area is in Encino. The shop did a lot of work for me at reasonable prices and it was all ways right. I believe the guys name is Enrico. About three or four blocks south of the main turn off the 101 into Encino.. Sorry I can't remember the name of his shop. It is on the right with a very faded sign. I moved from LA a couple of years ago.
