does the spring tensioner (PN 900 589 46 31 00) work for both the front and rear springs (which are different diameters)? or do need to purchase additional attachments? Also, will it work on a 16v as well as a 500E?

The tool comes with 4 plates, 2 different sizes. The spring tensioner works for
all W116/123/124/126/129/201 cars.
