Does anyone have for sale or would loan out the above mentioned tools? Also, does each car mentioned require a different type of wrench set? I am thinking 'no' but thought I would ask.
On the internet they are quite expensive $87 to $110.
If anyone has these I would make a drawing and post it so anyone with a torch and a grinding wheel could make their own. I am sure it has been done. .....so next question....has anyone done this before and be willing to share the knowledge?
Thanks

Long ago, with nothing to go by, I made my own. I wasn't any sort of skilled mechanic. Simply bought a couple of open ended wrenchs, heated them up with a propane torch and bent then into an S shape. I think I also ground the thickness down. They were ugly, but they worked. This was on a '79 300 CD.

Give it a try.

Made mine the same way but I lucked out that the wrenches were the right thinness. I was surprised how easy it was. I held the wrenches in a vice and heated them until the started to bend. I didn't even need to heat them red hot.
