It's IMPORTANT! You cheer for Christy. You cheer for Chuck.
You cheer for anybody. Can't anybody get those old Mercedes
to run?
Are you any better? Do you want a shot? These two are contenders!
If you can step in the ring, then go ahead. But beware! Just
because you can change some oil, or maybe a filter, doesn't
get you into this battle. You have to be able to get dirty.
Really dirty. Christy has grease up to her elbows. Chuck
has grease in his hair. Are you any better? Maybe. But, be
certain that to compete in this contest, you have to be dedicated.
Christy. Chuck. Dedication. They both have it. You might have it too,
but can you prove it? Come the day that
Christy and Chuck drive their cars together on the same road
you can watch, but can you truly compare? Likely not. Not me, yet.
In the world of automotive competion, this race is hard won.
There can be two winners.

As of this moment, I have the 250C starting easily and idling a little rough when cold, but smoothing out when warm. I am still waiting for the tool to scynch the carbs, but have done a hand job (on the carbs) and they are working OK.

I achieved this status at about 8 PM EDT Friday evening. Cannot drive the car as transmission will not do ANYTHING!
