I just took delivery of this tool this past week. It's heftier* than I would have imagined. I did a trial compression on a new spring (off-car). It works like a champ and is very quick. I hope to swap springs on my W210 this weekend.
I'll be placing the tool in the 'rental' program with the same terms/conditions as Brian Carlton, but the time period is going to be more tightly regulated so others can use it when there is a waiting list. ;)
*shipping weight was 14lbs.

uberwagen, which brand is yours?
The one on ebay, I believe that speedy300dturbo has one. Someone bought the "Klann" clone. I think if you search for those words, you will find who has bought one.

There are no indications on mine, I am told it is made by Baum. Brian Carlton seems to be an expert on the who's who of spring compressors ;)

I have that one in the rental program.
The quality is decent. The mechanism works as designed and the four plates are well made.
It's survived at least 15 outings without any problems.
I'd recommend it without any qualification.
