I know that this has been posted before but I just needed to know something. I have a 77 300d that is having starting issues and I need to get it towed somewhere in Atlanta to have it looked at. I tried to call Cars and Kars as it seemed to be thought of highly but the number that was posted no longer works and I cannot find them in the phonebook. Has anyone dealt with Manuel's MB in Cobb County or Mercedes–Austrian Motors off of Northside Dr.? I am kind of limited to either the Marietta area or somewhere downtown so any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

There was a guy on this list who did on-site MB repair in Atlanta.

Clip,"I used Benzmobility for the first time this weekend after reading the reviews from this site. I can honestly say that John is the real deal. He arrived promptly and did all of the sevices we had discussed. He was very knowledgeable about Mercedes and completed all tasks both neatly and quickly. But I feel one thing that should be said that is often overlooked when giving reviews is the fact that John is really a very honest person as well. He does a great job and is very reasonable compared to the dealer. I will never use anyone else to work on my 210.
for a good deal and an oppurtunity to actually have someone work on your car as if it were their own you can't go wrong with benzmobility. Give John a call @ 404.723.1346 you will not be dissapointed." end Clip

Benzmobility has a great reputation but I don't think that he'll want to work on a '77.

I recommend Ken Redmond @ The Benz Store on Buford Highway. Google "Benz Store Chamblee" and you'll find him. Call him first - I'm sure he can get your '77 running. I know it's not the area you want but our family can vouch for the quality of Ken's operation over there.

John, owner of Benzmobility (404.723.1346) is the absolute best and he comes to you! I've used him for two of my cars for several years now. He's knowledgable, fair, prompt, thorough, HONEST and just an all around good guy. What more could you ask for? I wouldn't use anyone else and just wish he worked on other cars besides Mercedes (OK, he may work on your Cuda). But then if he did work on others, he wouldn't be a specialist would he? Feel free to email if you have other questions.

Keep up the good work, John!!

Unfortunately John at Benzmobility does not work on the older models. I was hoping to get him to work on my '83 380SL but he only works on the newer MB's.

I can highly recommend AutoBenz in Marietta, GA. Cy Chapman and his crew have worked on my Mercedes for years. They are a family owned business that is very honest. I have never had to send back any of my cars due to follow-on problems.

I know you will not be disappointed! I have sent several folks to Cy from these forums and they ALWAYS e-mail me back, thanking me for such a good recommendation!

Please tell them that J. P. Mose recommended them.

There phone number is 770-333-0119.
