Team - does anyone have or can any one tell me where to get the compressed air fitting for the Spark Plug hole M103 2.6 motor.
Need to do stem seals.....ASAP Feel free to email me
marcngregorio@aol.com Thanks in advance.
We used to make this from a spark plug.

I use an adapted compression gauge fitting.

We just did this at the weekend.
Go buy a Sears Compression tester.
It has everything you need, and a compression tester is good to have too!
Here is the one we used and own.
Note the statement,
"Air hold adapter for performing valve seal repairs with cylinder heads on engine".

I've stuffed a bunch of thick cord into to cylinder through the spark plug hole just before running the piston up to TDC. I then finish running up the piston so it snugs the cord up against the valves. I then back the piston down and remove the cord.
It's a little more time consuming but requires no special tools.

If you pressurize the cylinder with the piston at BDC, the air will hold the valve... until it doesn't and the valve drops into the cylinder. So don't lose one, or the head comes off anyway.
If you pressurize the cylinder with the piston at TDC, the valve will hit the piston before it drops into the cylinder if the seal breaks, and you won't lose it. But if you're just a tiny bit off TDC, you will spin the engine when (or after) you pressurize the cylinder. Keep your hands out of the way.
The disadvantage to the rope trick is leaving stuff in the cylinder. I'd recommend using only synthetic rope, since these don't tend to shed fibers. The advantage to the rope trick should be obvious.

for 18 months this has been my trepidation... i have yet to do my two cars for fear the valve will drop.
i am trying to get up the nerve around thanksgiving...when i get some un-pressured time off.\
Edit: I did it , and it went well... got the TDC whistle....and then used compressed air...the compressed air held the valve up. I also could be wrong, but it seems like the valve stem seal might prevent the valve from dropping..
anyway, double fail safe.... tdc and compressed air.
