Our great forum has spoken often of Enrique at Mr. M.B. Motors in Tarzana, Ca. Having spoken to him often, I intended to get over to meet him, although it's about 60 miles away.

I purchased a '74 280 that was located in Goleta, which is north of Santa Barbara. The car didn't run so I decided to have it towed to his shop, which was 86 miles from Goleta, and on my way home. I should note that I've got AAA which allows for 100 miles towing at no cost to me. He went through the distributor, set the timing, adjusted the carb and did a few other things for $120.00! I have no intention of going anywhere else as long as this gentleman is available.

Oh how I wish I could find an indie Volvo mechanic like Enrique!

Last time I spoke with Enrique, he expressed amusement that someone would drive all the way from Orange County just for an oil service.

He still cna't believe how popular and trusted he is.

And yet, to this very day, he has never visited this site. He has confessed to being computer-phobic.

Another successfull service.

He did an "A" service on the E430, flushed the brake fluid, rotated the tires, and replaced the rear brakes.

Only took him about two hours. Very fast.

He even had time to sit down and chat with me for a few minutes. He misses his grandchildren dearly. His son and daughter-in-law moved to South Africa last year.
