This car is not your ordinary run of the mill car. The receiver and amps are in the trunk. Not a simple plug and play install by any means. Search this forum on maybe sound system W124 and you will see a bunch of info. Good luck, Steve BENZ-LGB 04-15-2007, 10:33 AM Mario: Check the Crutchfield catalog. They usually have installation kits for different kinds of cars. Crutchfield (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-wH7WrZ7o6kr/) The installation can be tricky. If you install an aftermarket unit you will need to bypass the built-in amps. Also, while you are at it, by-pass the useless console fader. noodles168 04-18-2007, 11:52 AM My Friend Has A 300 E And She Purchased A Stero For It I Cant Find An Instalation Kit For It Is One Needed? I Havent Looked At The Car Any Help Would Be Appreciated Thanks A few years ago I bought a radio and CD changer for my 91 350SDL with a kit that allowed use of the installed amps from S&W 1-800-270-2378. I don't know if he is still in business. The guy that installed it for me, bypassed the amp in the trunk. I am pretty sure that crutchfield has everything you need to do this install. And even if you dont buy anything from them I would bet that you could still ask them what you need to get and how to do it. Good Luck. |
