I came across this shop in Oman, called Al-Haditha Workshop.

Man these guys are awesome and very very reasonable, I imported my car from the US, 1987 300 SDL with 103k original miles, it had a few issues with vacuum, the guys knew what was wrong it it fixed and now the shifting and cooling are superb!

the car drives just as it should!
