Folks, I have used Freeze 12 as a refrigerant, and was wondering if anyone knew of a shop located somewhere in Northwest Houston that could add some to my car, a 1983 300D (W123). Thanks so much in advance!

TX76513 09-19-2007, 03:07 PM It's sold as a replacement for R-12 but you don't need a license to purchase. Diesel Giant sells it on his site. Don't know much more about it. There were two cans in a car I bought under contents the mfg. put "TRADE SECRET" The cans take the old R-12 slide tap rfdillon 09-19-2007, 05:39 PM Do you mean that I could purchase it from a retailer and install it myself? Does anyone in Houston sell it to the public? I have an old R-12 set of gauges that I could hook it up to. Thanks in advance for your help.
