Dear DIY'ers,
Until further notice, my Klann knock-off spring compressor is out of circulation. It seems that after 9 months of working with outstanding MBers, I hit a scumbag. As I never required a deposit, the tool made it to a lot of good guys with minimum hassle on both ends. Unfortunately, the string ended in Wichita. I won't mention names, but Ely I have the time and the resources to make life miserable for you.. I don't expect you to read this because you obviously you don't read email, the mail, certified mail, etc. You better be dead or in Iraq because those are the only excuses I allow to be ripped off..and it certainly isn't
anything like losing your home in So. Cal...prayers up for you guys..

Mike, sorry to hear this. Asking for a deposit makes folks more honest ;)
I hope it turns out to be nothing but a simple error on the part of Ely.

The next best solution? I will be buying one as soon as my 280CE sells and my "new" 300CD Roadster arrives.

Mike,
Sorry to hear that. Your spring compressor was a big help for me. You were very trusting and I commend you for that. I hope you get it back and continue to rent it out the worthy folks out there.

I've considered loaning out my tools and I did once but not without getting a deposit of the full purchase price first.

Don't be shy, tell us EXACTLY who this person is and where he is..so we can help get your property returned to you....and avoid another scam to one of us perhaps.
A quick call to his towns Police dept. to file a complaint should rattle his cage enough to return it.
