I've searched the forum first for answers, but did not find any, so - Does anyone know how to find out the brand of paint used by Mercedes at the factory?

I'd like to do some touch up on my '93 190 and would be interested in using factory original paint.

There used to be the paint code on the number plate by the hood latch. There are a bunch of numbers and more than one group of three. There will be a group with the letter "G" or "H" next to it. That will be the paint code and the letter refers to the paint manufacturer. G stands for Glasurit (sp?). Not sure about the H. I am pretty sure our body shop mixes all numbers from Glasurit.
