My friend's ex-wife just moved down to Austin, taking a 190E 2.6 with her. The car made the 1,000 mile trip well, but it seems to be idling a bit high. My friend put the engine in the car the morning she left (!), so there are probably a few little things that need to be addressed.
Can somebody recommend a good shop for her?
Thx -CTH

Charlie, not sure about Austin but if she can make it to Dallas, she can go and see David Poole who would be able to help her.

Balcones European Motors specializes in MB. They are located at 12131 Roxie Drive in North Austin. 512.335.6911 I'm sure they can care for your MB too.

I know it's not a MB shop, but if you need some basic repair I've been taking all my cars and trucks to:
Lugnuts Automotive Service Web Site
Address: 6212 Manchaca Rd, Austin, TX 78745
Phone: (512) 445-6887
Talk to the owner Patrick, his team knows alot about cars and doesn't have a problem working on my 87 MB.
Can't beat the price either.

Tower Automotive at Lamar and 10th has been good to me. David works on our 560SL and E420 (1994).
