An air horn? Mount one of those dual air horns on the roof and you'll clear the road out in front of you!

I went to a Cadillac junkyard last week and bought a couple of horns there.

I thought the truck airhorns and compressor would be overkill, not wanting to see the car ahead jump in the air and split in half when I honked at it

what you need are the Hella super tone horns.. the red head versions... 118 db's

I have my little stebel air horn.. but I need a second so its balanced (left and right side.. currently just right side)

and I need to reposition them.. at high speed you can't hear them because of the air flow

I honked the horn on my TD last weekend in preparation for MD inspection - it sounded just like my old Beetle. Geeze.
