Funny story how I came across Ernie too...

I used to work at a car wash in Seattle. A guy by the name of Sandy from New York came thru in a white 400E. I needed some work done on my 260E, and I asked him if he knew of a good 124 mechanic. Sandy told me about Ernie Automeister in Issaquah. He also told me that bc I asked if he knew a good "124" mechanic, vs say, a "Mercedes" mechanic, that I was more educated than your normal MB driver therefore I was worthy of knowing about Ernie.

I'm glad to hear he's still there. I've lived in Issaquah for several years but have not yet found 'the mechanic'. He sounds great.
