how much could 1 cam be?, would make the best group buy ever!!, someone please hook us up!

would it be worth the money for all of us or just the performance section?

I'm thinking it would cost buckets of $$ to have a new cam designed.

Just get an old good cam and have it reground to the specs you want. I bet most any race shop will cut it for you. You might be able to get away with a little more lift but I'd go for more duration, especially on the intake (Have it stay open a bit longer after BDC). If you get really wild with the timing then new valve springs would be a good idea as well.

In 1980 they increased lift by 1.5mm on the intake and 1.9mm on the exhaust.

If you keep vertical tension on the chain and sprocket you should be able to R&R the cam without disturbing the chain.
