Guys,

I was looking at Garrett's website and they have some great educational information on turbo theory, operation and design. So I got the bright idea to creat a spreadsheet on Excel that you can plug numbers into and it will calculate pressure ratios and lb/min figures that you can plug into a turbo map to find one that will work for you.

If there was a nifty way to post the file somewhere, I'd do it but for now, I can email it to anyone that wants it.

Give me some feedback on it and I can improve it as well. I just hammered it out in 30 min. or so...

THIS (http://www.not2fast.com/turbo/glossary/turbo_calc.shtml?FeetASL=0&Tamb=30&Bore=90.9&Stroke=92.4&nCyl=5&RPM=4500&VE=80&Boost=9&Ec=75&Eic=0&PdropIC=0&TambIC=30&wiPercentMethanol=0&wiRate=0&wiTemp=0&SFC=0&AFR=0&maxInjectorDutyCycle=0) site will do the same thing, I also set up the link for an OM617a.

That's much more sophisticated than what I came up with. Mine just gives 2 figures. That's a good site, I'll have to spend some time reading up...
