I found this site (http://www.turbomaster.info/eng/applications/passenger_cars_model.php?fabricante=JEEP&logo=jeep) which confirms that the liberty turbo is a 2056. According to this site, it was also used on the 06 Cherokee which is 225 hp, so I don't think its too small :)

GT2056V. You have to take that site with a grain of salt. The Cherokee is the Liberty overseas.
What I didnt know was that they had a v6 OM engine... I assume that means MBZ......

I had seen that site, but they have updated it since I last saw it. Before it said that the turbo with the number 35242115F was a GT2260V.
I test ran mine with the vanes fully open and the boost and turbine inlet pressure stayed fairly low so it is plenty large enough for the 617.
