I see there are some recommendations for shops in Reno, but my '71 is at a point where it won't run at all, and I would like to avoid the cost of a tow to Reno. Is there anyone in Carson City I should trust with it?

To answer my own post, I ended up having it towed to Action Frame and Automotive in Carson City. It didn't run when they got it. It runs now, although not 100% right. I'd say they did pretty good for a shop that mostly works on old American iron.
