I'll be traveling to Amsterdam & Germany in 8 weeks, and need a fast car-need 3-4 place seating, so an E55 or M5 should do nicely. I'll need the car for 4 days-11/1-5. Any ideas? Sixt has nothing more than a CLK230 Kompressor, and I need something a bit more stout, because the plan is to do a couple of trips down to the Nordschliefe of the Nurburgring for a few laps. Hehe.

I haven't got a single idea...but if you are in my neighborhood (which you definitely are since the Netherlands is practically 1 neighborhood), feel free to come by!
Why don't you want to rent a nice 203 C class CDI? If you can get a C270CDI, you will be able to travel a lot faster as the avergage petrol driven car (I can hardly keep up with a C220CDI when I am driving my 300SL24...).

Hmmm-maybe. The "plan" is to do a day or two at the Nurburgring, so I want something with serious muscle-a CLK 230 Kompressor Cabrio was okay, but I'd have preferred 300BHP or more.
Hey, it's MY holiday!

I cannot find any rental companies who have fast cars. sorry:(
But maybe you can take a ride with the RINGTAXI , for some money they drive you over the track really fast.
ofcourse they drive and you don't
I now one car is a M5
and I've heard there is also a Porsche 911 who can drive you around.
But be very carefull when you drive yourself because the last months there were several big accidents with some dead people.

Michael,
Try going to www.AutoEurope.com/luxury and look under their specialty cars available. They're not cheap but it's your vacation, right, so anything goes! Sort of? Let us know how you make out and have fun on the 'ring' but keep it between the ditches and the shiny side up.

AutoEurope-a CLK430 for 4 days is $3,391 US!! A CLK 320 is just under $2k. Thanks, but no thanks.
Any other ideas anyone?
