hahaha!

Would if I could but the logistics simply don't permit it!

I was trying to get a differential upgrade but apparently, RENNTech would have to work on and build up my existing one! Imagine the freight involved in that operation! I am toying with the idea of having them source one to work on, send it to me, charge my card for the core, then reverse it once they get my original diff back. I was thinking that getting a proper limited slip plus a 3.02 rear end, although would sacrifice top end a bit, would give me superb acceleration (besides, I don't go 150-160mph too often!)

Couldn't do that with the engine though...can't win em all :)

I'd bet though that with Scott Shell, it's only a matter of time...

Btw, it comes with ITG air filters, and not K&Ns as I had somehow thought it would.

Although I couldn't find much in the ITG website (www.itgairfilters.co.uk) they do claim that "itg comes 1st and 2nd at the 2001 Indy 500." and "Also suppliers to 5 x F1 teams and 69% of the Teams in the 2001 B.T.C.C."

Other than that, there isn't much on their website...

Sorry, more information available here for those interested: www.itgairfilters.com

Thanks!

I'd first check with the parts shop/fast lane (see buttons at the top of the page). Email Phil for your needs.

If they don't have it, you should be able to get them at www.bekkers.com.

There are also some on ebay:

clear corners: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=595545946&r=0&t=0

tail lights: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=595582954&r=0&t=0

I got mine from the dealer, but I live in Asia.

Good luck!

And show us some pics when you're done!

Nice! Does RennTech claim any HP increase?

Their claim is 40% more airflow, +10hp, +8ft.lbs.

So compared to your original air cleaner housing, how did RennTech get a 40% increase in air flow?

Did they make pipes, or the volume of the airbox that holds the airfilter bigger?

Care to take a picture of both?

When you say pipes, you mean the tube that connects the intake ducts into the airbox, right? No, they don't make pipes. Wish they did though as I had to buy one from the parts shop to replace mine that was slightly scuffed (top portion peeled, exposing a bit of the foam...of all places right on top where it can be seen!)

Not quite sure how they did it. Was unable to compare the two as my car was in the shop getting a re-spray when the Renntech part arrived (still is). I guess partly because of the less restrictive filter, though.

I was going to take pics but my car was in the booth/oven getting the respray when I dropped by earlier today.

Maybe early next week. Tons of pics by then for sure...

Cheers!
