Alright, was in DC at RC-Imports, a shop that also races 190Es, and has Mike Skees, very own creator of the 190E 3.2-24v using an m104 SL300 motor pushing 250hp.
Well Was over there, and he told me they swtiched from the E 420 calipers to the 95 SL 600 ones front and rear. My rear are stock, because I figured the rear don't do much to begin with.
He said the benefits are incredibly noticeable. He said he himself testifies, and said if you have a 190E equipped with SL 600 Calipers ar all 4, and no ABS, he guarantees all 4 tires would look up and have flat spots!!!! :D
So this goes out to MB Doc and Webmaster, or any one else. The stock rear are solid rotors, the rear of the SL are vented. How hard would it be to get these on, and what about wheel clearance. Also, aren't these the same on the E500s?
Just thought I would throw it out.
