Lee Scheeler 03-14-1999, 02:12 AM We have long considered an aftermarket and/or performance section. What specific types of aftermarket equipment are you interested in? Interior enhancements(cup holders/sheepskins), handling tweaks(sport springs/shocks/anti-roll bars/aftermarket wheels/tires), power products(chips/exhaust/turbo kits), appearance items(euro-headlights/spoilers/window tint) We already have a keyless entry system available for most mercedes models made in the last 12 years. This system does not interfere with your warranty, ties into existing systems with no cutting/drilling/trauma, and instalable by a non-professional. Pricing is yet to be finalized but it should be in the $200-$250 range tops. In addition to this aftermarket/performance section we would have a reader/viewer "featured car" or customer car showcase. If anyone has any specific interest in any of these ideas feel free to post your thoughts. Thanks, Lee jkurtz 03-14-1999, 02:43 PM Lee, All the items you covered are what I would be looking for. walden 03-16-1999, 08:57 AM hi jkurtz and lee... where can i get rims at the best prices besides tirerack? what are the best springs to lower the car, lowered as far as can go and still drive well? what is a good Mercedes specializing aftermarket shop that sells these things at the best prices? thanks! E. Lee 03-20-1999, 08:04 PM You mentioned that you have an after market remote keyless entry system for MB made in the last 12 years? Can you give me more information? I have an 88 300E W124. Thanks in advance. kees klein 03-22-1999, 03:17 PM hello to all mb owners and reselers is there perhaps possible to make a list for all the accesoires what you can use for every model. An example is like side boxes to mount in the back for make your car not chaotic. i found this on http/www.audiosystems.de/image/ there must be more of this kind of unknown list of good parts you can use for your MB this is just to compleet your car what MB not can deliver or make Jesseliu 03-31-1999, 02:01 PM Walden, Regarding springs All of the aftermarket specialists(for Mercedes) have springs. They are costly though and might even be the same product as the HR or Eibach springs. I bought a set of Renntech Springs for 500 dollars and they turned out to be the exact same spring from HR which lists for 280. My personal preference is with the HR's. They ride quality is very good and hasn't been compromised. If you feel that those springs don't lower the car enough you can also change your spring pads to a lower size. Where do you live? There is a aftermarket store in Fremont California called Streetwize that specializes in high end cars. (510)623-8898. Benzmac 03-31-1999, 11:06 PM ELEE, I installed another keyless today in a 124.
