Checking things over, replacing plugs, caps, wires, brakes, etc. are generally common knowlege and ability for we car types.
The other, specialized procedures: checking/replacing the front flex disk, steering dampner, steering box adjustment, etc., etc. are less common or not known. Maybe found in the maintenance manual for XX mile check (if you have one), maybe not. How about a listing of these for us that like to at least look after it ourselves?
