I also would like to go to a central location and find all the aftermarket items Lee mentioned for a '92 500SEL. I would think that with the popularity of MB all over the world that there would be an abundance of items for all makes and models. I am still looking for the window tent that J.C. Whitney use to carry that was sun sensitive (i.e. lighten up at night and darken in the daylight depending on the intensity of the sun). Do you know where I might find this? There is probably some where on the Internet it is just a matter of finding it.

I can't help you with the window tint...haven't seen that one lately.
We do plan to add more links to sources of products we know and trust. For now, your best bet is to use several of the search engines such as HotBot, Excite, Yahoo, etc to find what you're looking for. Hopefully it won't be too long until we have some good links.

I am aware of the window tint you are refering too. Are you refering to a simple tint that goes on like any other and just simply changes shade based on the sun? The tint I know of is actually new glass. You have a control knob that adjusts the darkness of the glass by increasing electrical current in the glass. An amazing product, you could go from completely transparent to soild black glass just by turning a knob. This is mostly used for homes, but a car will run you $2,000-3,000. If you are looking for a basic tint that just changes shade, I still have several friends in the 12 volt industry that can surely find what you are looking for.
