Thank you for your comments. We are very lucky to have so many extremely talented techs but, we are also fortunate to have 500+ members who take such pride in their cars.

Hopefully we can increase our members' understanding of their cars and save them some money along the way...either thru technical information, parts sales or both. If we can sell a few parts and a few banner ads then we'll keep this thing going and everybody wins.

We are also starting to build a very formidable database of information. The Shop Forum search engine for example can be used to tap this wealth of knowledge.

The last comment I would make is related to our interface and ease of use. I just cancelled my membership this week to the Mercedes Mailing List. Why? Because of the cumbersome interface. Everytime I travel my e-mail stacks up and becomes unmanageable. There are lots of knowledgeable people on the list but, I can no longer deal with the list format. I'll be on vacation next week in a location where each connection to the internet will be a long distance call. I don't want to wade thru hundreds of list e-mails before I can see my regular e-mails.

I'll get off my soapbox now!
