My 50,000 miles warranty is about to expire. I cuurently have 45,000 mile and interested in getting an extention to 100k. Any help would be appreciated.

Get it before you get within 1 month/1K miles of the expiration of factory warranty.

After seeing what some service bills for these cars can be like, you can have your warranty "paid for" in 1 or 2 medium to large repairs. If you have the option at all, do it! It can also really help the resale value of your car if/when you decide to sell before the warranty period is out.
