One by one. Now, I can only see the center part of the radio. Is there anyway to change the lights in the radio?? Or do I have to get a new deck??
P.S. MB Dealers in Canada can not do it. They said that they are not "specialized" in radio problems(hm, I wonder...). Tell me to go for aftermarket installers.

You can get the bulbs replaced. Either go to a reputable electronics store, they should be able to do it. If not let me know, I have Beckers repair number and I'll give it to you. They can either repair yours or sell you a new one designed to plug into your car. However I suggest you just go to your local car audio shop and pick out a nice new CD player, better quality and better price.

I'll second Adrian's recommendation. Having replaced the 400E's stock becker with an Alpine the difference in sound quality was very impressive. I retained all the stock speakers, wiring, etc. Just putting in an Alpine 12disc and Alpine head unit the sound quality of anything (radio, cassette, or CD) drastically improved. You can always do better when it comes to audio but the gains were significant even to my somewhat "tin" ear. It is one of the better "bang for the buck" upgrades you can do in these cars.
Best of Luck....Lee
