Hi. I know of several people who have been commenting on how they want a '94/'95 E420. I saw one in the local paper today and went to look at it, but I did not meet with the car owner. It's for sale by a MB Dealer sales employee, it's sitting in the MB Dealer lot, but it's a private sale by the car owner. Typical disclamer: I have no interest, affiliation, etc. with this car, its owner, etc. Buyer beware, yadda, yadda, yadda. Please call the number direct if interested, I'm sure he would be more than happy to answer any questions. I would be happy to check it out further in person if you have any specific questions about how it looks or other questions that must be answered by looking at the car. It would be a good excuse to take a test drive! I am no expert on the 124 chassis, so I would not know a good "feeling" car from a bad one.

It's a light blue with medium blue lower cladding. I don't know the color code or proper color names. Interior is a light grey, maybe "ash"? Seller's phone # is included in above post.

It might be "Teal Blue".

I may have a car you are looking for, though I am not sure I really want to sell it. It is so pretty and is set up for performance (500 suspension, PAD chip, K&N air filters, 206x55x16 wheels/tires, E500 European headlights). My only complaint is that it is NOT a manual transmission car. It is too costly to change that. The car is a 1994, I am the second, very scrupulous owner. It is black with a black interior. Just turned 85K miles this morning and all service is current.

Let me know if this appeals to you. It would kill me to sell it, however.

As to specifics of the car, here goes. I am second owner (bought Jan 2000). Now at 85K miles. Black/black. Sunroof. Trunk-mounted CD changer/Becker cassette. 205(55)16 Bridgestones on 8-hole MB-look wheels, PAD chip, K&N air filters, stainless brakelines, Euro E500 headlamps (driving not fogs), E500 suspension (an incredible difference in handling).

This is a really pretty car that runs very well. I would be very sad to sell it but I really don't like automatic transmissions. My email address is charles.cleaver@iflyata.com.
