Owner's manual says 15x6.5J H2(using 195/65/15 tires)
Tirerack says 15x7 fits.What gives?

As far as I know the normal OEM was 15x6.5 but 15x7 was the OEM "Sportline" size if I'm not mistaken. Either size will work fine with 195/65/15 or Sportline size 205/60/15. If it were my car, I'd probably go with the 15x7's and the 205/60/15's.

M.B.N.A.(now M.B.USA) made decisions on tire sizes & wheels. Most of the time they use "small" sizes to save on fuel economy & $$$. CAFE fuel ratings are important, in Europe most customers don't purchase alloys from M.B.
