Thanks ------------------ -Mike '87 300TD Turbo 250C/8 + 230SL 02-05-2006, 06:21 PM Took a fine running car there to get inspected: $3500 later it was inspected. One thing done was replacement of axles with new from Germ. Two months later I took the car to the indy in town for a valve adjustment and he said, "by the way, we tightened up your axles free of charge... they were loose." DIY if you ahve the time is my advice. Additionally, they wouldn't sign my high mileage application on another car. They wanted to charge me $75 for a standard w123 key. Only buy or take Toyotas there for work... or the Cadillac crap they also sell. This is a multispecialty dealer, not just MBZ. I just wouldn't trust them with a vintage MBZ again. Hope this helps. darius 03-16-2006, 09:38 PM Drive the couple hours down the European Car Service in South Charleston.
