I own an 87 190E which will need tires in the near future. I have had Michelins in the past that I was very happy with. Since I live in New England I am not sure if I should try to aquire another set of rims for snow or just get an all season tire? Can I go to a larger/wider tire?? Thanks, Charles

Snow tires are generally narrower profile than normal tires. If you want handling and great winter traction, then get two sets. I think the Michelin Arctic Alpin.(sp?) Is the Mich winter tire. Any of the pilots should do quite well for dry traction. The XGT will be the Pilot tire with the best winter traction. Click or call Tirerack for further specifics, recommendations, etc.
