I have some rust bubbles in the rear quarters on my '84 300D. I would like to get this repaired, but I want to find someone who can really be trusted to do the job right and not rip me off (i.e., no bondo, weld in metal if needed, no cheap materials, prime and undercoat as needed beautiful finish when job is done). Does anyone have any suggestions for a shop in the DC/VA area? I am willing to spend the cash if I can find a top notch shop to do the job, I just don't know where to go.

Thanks,

Greg

I understand that Wagon Wheel (in Arlington or Falls Church, I believe) are the best. I understand, too, that they're not cheap. I'd be interested in any other suggestions, as I have a 1983 Volvo 240 DL (203,000 miles) that needs some minor body work.

ACS near baltimore does excellent work and is almost exclusivly mercedes. The local dealers send their cars there and the rates are reasonable. Give them a try.

I am tearing apart my 300D 82 parts car, its from az its got no rust. Want me to cut off my rear quarter pannels for you. See I have a coupe so nothing but the firewall forward I can use as in body parts. Let me know tomorrow because my dad said tomorrow is the last day I can take things off of it because hes tired of it in the yard.
