Hey I was driving to work this morning and hadn't noticed one of the yellow lines was freshly painted. Now it's all over my tires and my wheel wells. Anyone know a good way to get it off? I'm not worried about the tires, i'm getting new ones in a couple days. But the wheel wells, how should I get it off? Thanks!

While the paint is still fresh.

Detailing clay takes off over-spray like magic.

Lacquer thinner on a rag will do just fine unless it's some kind of epoxy paint.

I wouldn't personally use lacquer thinner on my car, especially since detailing clay is made for this purpose. There has been more than one post on this site where the person used lacquer thinner to remove a stain and went right through the paint.

I bought 3M Paint/Tar/Adhesive Remover from Walmart. Worked like a magic.

The post clearly said the paint was on the tires and in the wheelwells. Nothing there but dirty plastic and painted undercoat.

You're right. Sorry.
