Just a small and maybe use-less bit of info, but if you are ever in the garage for hours on end ( like waxing ) :), and you have your radio on, it will shut off after 1 hour or so. Mine kept doing this today, 4 times in total. There is nothing in my manual about this, and I doubt it is a matter of low-voltage(diesel battery), but probably just another fail-safe that benz worked into the car to prevent me from running down the battery. One thing I also noticed which is a neat and SMART addition, is the ability to have the radio on with the car off, and not having to have the key in the number 1 position. Thankyou!

And I thought I would not learn anything from waxing......

Yes, that is a cute feature. One question. Why doesn't the light for the radio come on when the car is not on. It would seem that some engineer thought that it was cool to have the radio on, but what if you are sitting in the car at night with the radio on,
you can't see a freaking thing. Can this be changed????/

Good, if it happens to you to, I will not worry!

I wonder that if you change channells if the light will come on, maybe this is just an engineering feature to save battery life, however as small as it may be.

I will experiment in the "dark" garage....
