Chris
Weather is sayng most of the rain is saturday, so sunday still looks good. We will assume 10-20 people (?) and bring plates, utensils, water and sodas for that number. ETA about 10AM, depending on when the south county parade leaves the coffee shop.
drbrandini 03-15-2003, 01:02 PM I'll bring some hot dogs too and soda. Does anyone have any Horse-shoes??? That would be great fun if doesn't rain.
Cannoli 03-15-2003, 02:07 PM We'll bring antipasta ... peppers, olives, artichokes etc ...
I just got back from Costco - picked up 24 cans reg coke, 24 diet, 36 bottled waters, plates and plastic utensils. Think that will be enough? Hope the rain lets up in time - it is pouring!
Fastlane Phil 03-15-2003, 03:36 PM Yes, it's wet out there. Sounds like you got enough utensiles etc. I'm pre-cooking the ribs right now. Boy, does it smell good in the kitchen.
See you all tomorrow

drbrandini 03-15-2003, 09:57 PM whooo hooo ...I just took a look at the weather channel.com And they are calling for Partly Sunny and 20% chance of Rain....That would be awesome!!
placo1 03-15-2003, 10:28 PM Is anyone bring the charcoal for the grill?
Man its raining buckets out here, I just watched a pick up truck hydroplane and do THREE 360's right in front of me!:eek: Luckily I could brake enough to stay behind him and watch him spin, but it didn't fail to scare the ____ out of me.
Sportline93 03-16-2003, 02:35 AM I just had my garage light fixture collapse on my car and it totally fk'd it up. But none the less I'll be there, jacked up and all. Ohh ya and i'm bringin a full batch of brownies.
Chris
Chris:
Sympathy on the car! :( This must be Wierd Weekend for car problems - my car will be there, but with cardboard and towels in place of the passenger carpeting, which started oozing glue - the 300E is being attacked by the blob!
I wonder who else is going to have a wierd car problem this weekend?
Fastlane Phil 03-16-2003, 10:40 AM looks good so far. I'm hoping for a nice day. see everyone there.
i'll be there about 9:00 to make sure all is ready. Chris, sorry to hear about your car. I hope the damage is minor. Afshin, thanks for thinking of the coals. I totally spaced it.

suginami 03-16-2003, 03:08 PM Sorry guys, but I can't make it.:(
The car is out of commission.
I noticed that the car had sprung a leak Friday evening, and when I inspected the fluid on the garage floor Saturday morning, it appears to be coolant.
I took the car to Enrique (Mr. MB Motors) yesterday morning, but there was no way he could get to it until Monday.
Enrique's business appears to be thriving. Every bay in the shop was filled, and he has expanded his shop with one extra bay.
I guess I'll have to wait until the next one to see you fellas. Bummer.....
While he has the car, though, I'm gonna have him fix a few other things: fix the upshift delay valve (tired of looking at the CE light), replace the rear brake discs and pads (rear discs are very warped), flush the brake fluid (it will be two years since the last flush in July), and do an oil and filter change. He will also get the car smogged for me. Just got the registration notice in the mail, and the DMV is requiring a smog test at an official Test-Only station.
I'd normally do some of these things myself, but I'll be travelling almost every week for the next several months, and need to spend the time I'm home with the wife.
