GWINNETT COUNTY FAIRGOUNDS

The local Peachtree Section MBCA is organizing an autocross for Saturday, April 19 in the metro Atlanta area and have secured the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds for this event.

The cost will be just $25 for the first driver and $15 for the second driver (same car) or spectators. A catered lunch will be included. This will be a great opportunity to test your car's limits in a safe environment! Due to insurance regulations, only MBCA members will be allowed to participate as a driver. Spectator guests are welcome too, but everyone is required to register for the event.

How do i become a member of the MBCA? I would love to Autocross that event. Is there goingto be different classes for different cars, or just a free for all?

No free for all. Different classifications.

Sign up for membership online at www.mbca.org or call their 800#. Than contact me by PM and I'll make sure you get you a registration form. :)

Kudos to you for your excellent driving ability on that '93 300E. :)

You were just about 1/2 second off the Fastest Time of Day, set by a CLK430! I kept nipping at your heels in my '91 300CE, but couldn't best your time :rolleyes:

Thanks, had a great time out there. First time ever pushing that car around the cones. It was a blast.
Can you say- "I need 500E swaybars"
If I get some decent rubber on the car, maybe I can track down the CLK 430 another day. You were having some nice runs as well out there. Great looking car!!
It was good to meet some other folks out there, and see some nice MB's. Looking forward to future events.

To bad Donnie and gang from MB Autowerks could not make it.

Did you get some good video? Photos?

I do have some, that my buddy took. Some photos of cars lined up at the start, and in motion. Even some video of a few cars, the C43, CLK430 and of the older SL's. I can e-mail what photos i have. I am out of town, for the week on business, so it would be next week.
