I bought an '85 190E for my son as his first car and am attempting to do some general maintainence. We have a cold start problem but my main concern is how to set the timing(ignition) as the reference pin is none accessable. CanI set it by a different cylinder using a different reference point. Also I am looking for an effective way to check for vacumn leaks and a good MB repair shop in Minneapolis area. I hope to get an interesting response.
